WHERE GOD FOUND MEConfused.
Alone. Tired. For the most part. Lost in self rejection. At that time I was making up my mind to become a senseless, robotic creature only doing what quote unquote, benefited me. Even if it hurt others. But... did it really benefit me though? For what I can tell. No. I, instead, became a messy cesspool of human inconsistencies which threatened not only my life but the true purpose God had intended for me. What I didn't realize was that I was on the road to destroying myself and part of a hopeful future for a Christ-ward generation that unknowingly depended on what God pre-destined me for. If not me, then someone else. But of course, time was ticking as the Heavenly Father would have to seek out another candidate. Unlike God, our lives are very short....our breath is in our nostrils. So easily wisped away with time. Consider this. It was after 400 years plus of the prophecy of the Messiah (Son of God) coming that finally, God found a suitable virgin to birth Jesus the Christ, our Lord and Saviour. What I am saying is, my refusal to align would have delayed the process for many people receiving salvation as the Father in Heaven searched for another. It was likely that many would die without salvation. Bearing that truth was heart-wrenching for me. So, I did what any believer in Christ would do, I denied my pleasures for self, took up my cross (that burden of God-appointed pre-destined responsibilities) and followed after Yeshua (Matthew 16:24; Mark 8:34; Luke 9:23). Denying myself not only meant stop doing what I usually did for self-gratification but confessing of my sins as I am made aware of what I was - a sinner. I lived after the lineage of the children of disobedience (Ephesians 2:2-3; Ephesians 5:6) so no wonder my life was a mess. But I learned that it was not too late to confess those sins and lay them before God who is merciful, kind and loving by lifting us up to the light (revelation of the truth) (Ephesians 2:4-8). All in reverence because God is Holy, abased because I am but a lowly human and of a broken spirit (Psalms 34:18; Isaiah 57:15) because that was what I was. As I confessed, I asked the Heavenly Father to forgive me and wash me clean by the blood of Jesus as I have accepted Him (Yeshua, or Jesus) as my Lord and Saviour. In that moment, I sincerely believed (and still do) that Jesus walked the earth as a man, died to pay the wages of sin for all (Romans 6:23) and rose again by the Spirit of God thereby conquering over the curse of death. All of that He did for His Father's Will to be done. To save us (Matthew 1:21). To save little me. Praise the Lord! Beloved I would just like to encourage you. No matter the person that you or you think that you are, God loves you and Lord Yeshua (Jesus) the Christ loves you. According to Romans 8:35-39, absolutely nothing can keep you from that love. And if you know this scripture, then you know one of the keys to unlocking the mystery of salvation through Christ Jesus. This along with John 3:16 which hints to us that this salvation is available for all men as "God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him (the Son of God) will not perish but have everlasting life." This everlasting life is of the spirit.
The truth of our flesh is that it is already condemned to death but what of our spirit. It can still be preserved in Yeshua's blood. The blood that was shed for the forgiveness and wiping away of our sins (Matthew 26:28; 1 John 1:7; Revelation 1:5). God bless you, and I pray He envelopes you in peace everytime you visit this site. May that peace remain with you as long as you continue to seek after the things of God. The first step is to Pray to God (addressing Him first in reverence, Psalms 99:9; Hebrews 12:28) by first humbling yourself and coming in the name of Jesus (1 Corinthians 6:9-11; Philippians 2:10; Colossians 3:17; 2 Thessalonians 1:12). Make your request known (Romans 1:10; Philippians 4:6). Purchase a Bible or use an online Bible. Pray to God for wisdom and understanding (Proverbs 4:5,7; James 1:5) of the Word. Read your Bible (Matthew 4:4; Revelation 1:3) as often as possible. Meditate on the Word of God (Joshua 1:9; Psalms 1:2; 1 Timothy 4:13, 15-16) presented in the Bible. All these things I have done and I know as you desperately seek (consistently) He shall surely answer you (Hebrews 11:6) As time presses I will reveal more of the journey... |
